Two Guys Actually Did The ‘Dumb & Dumber’ Mini Bike Trip

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As far as 90s comedies go, it doesn’t get much more lightning in a bottle than Dumb & Dumber. The story of two well-meaning yet hairbrained best friends on their way to Aspen (California?) on mission to return a briefcase to Mary (Samsonite?), the woman whom Lloyd fell madly in love with at first sight.

In the film, after many a misadventure, the pair find themselves in the middle of Nebraska with only a minibike to complete the last 400 mile leg of the journey.

Turns out, the movie was fairly accurate. Lloyd claimed to get 70 miles per gallon on his hog (this pair got a very respectable 60 mpg). They also discovered that mini bikes do have a way to holding up traffic while climbing steep mountain passes.

Things are always more funny when they’re plausible.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-WgGh9lvx4&t=412s”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
