This weekend, Robert Pattinson will be shedding his sparkly, vampire reputation in favor of a dark, gritty take on the caped crusader known as Batman. Fans could be forgiven for wondering if another rehashing of the Bruce Wayne story is warranted, especially after Christian Bale and co. so deftly brought the universe to life in Christopher Nolan’s interpretation.
The answer from critics? Yes. Yes it is.
The Batman thoroughly earns its place in this iconic character’s legacy.

This movie deserves an Oscar nomination in technical aspects, it's crazy how visually good each scene looks and the soundtrack is wonderful, This is the best Matt Reeves movie And you can see the love he has for the character. pic.twitter.com/nKLAEdBBmH

Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman is the best performance I've seen in this genre of superheroes and Batman in general, you feel his frustration and he will go. pic.twitter.com/vGtPgXHKzU
#TheBatman review: The Batman is simply the best Batman movie yet, a film that richly honors the character and the world while simultaneously reinvigorating it. It's thoughtful, scary, funny, sexy, and most importantly at three hours--never, even for a moment, boring.
