Well, Star Wars fans were enamored with ‘The Mandalorian’, let down by ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’- and now have galaxy-high expectations for ‘Obi Wan Kenobi’. George Lucas himself could not have imagined that one day filmmakers would so painstakingly re-create storylines that were often only mentioned in passing in the original movies. Ewan McGregor will reprise the role he first portrayed over twenty years ago. McGregor, whose age puts him roughly in the middle between his age in Episode I: The Phantom Menace and Alec Guinness’ age in the original Star Wars movie makes the timing perfect for him to reprise the role.
