Before you totally discount this as bargain bin special, the studio has put some experience behind the project. Emily V. Gordon (The Big Sick) will pen the screenplay and Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never) will direct.

So many questions like, are these going to be claymation Play-Doh characters? If so, that somehow seems redundant.
