It’s Britney, b****. She’s ready for the comeback.

Elton John & Dua Lipa’s song ‘Cold Heart’ was easily one of the biggest hits of 2021; and now, Sir Elton is back to reinvent the wheel once more. Now free from her conservatorship of more than 14 years, Britney Spears will be featured on the ‘Rocket Man’ singer’s new track.

While little else is known about the song, we do know the track will be called ‘Hold Me Closer’, a remake of the 1971 classic ‘Tiny Dancer’.

UPDATE:

The track will officially drop Friday August 26th. Elton shared a teaser for the track. Some are excited for a fresh take on the classic, others feel it sounds too much like the original.
