Last week my husband and I got to go to Fredericksberg Texas with his parents and brother to watch the Total Solar Eclipse!

We spent the morning starring at the sky, wondering if the clouds the radar showed were going to disapate.

There were a few breaks and in the four minutes of totality we got just under a minute to see it. It was so beautiful!!! And so dark all around us.

I recorded a bit while it was happening. You can hear my excitement and wonder as the clouds clear and we see the engagement ring clearly in the sky.

They say once you see one total solar eclipse – you start chasing them.

I’m a believer! Let’s go Sydney 2028!! If we wait for it to come back to North America… we won’t see it until August 23, 2044!!!
