Taylor swift’s album The Tortured Poets Department is out now!!
My listening party last night was exactly how I wanted it. Perfect, perfect, perfect! I put on my nose canceling headphones, turned on the fireplace, turned myself into a little burrito in a blanket and cried LOL. Right when the album came out, a new timer started on her Instagram. So, obviously I stayed up to see what it was. Only an extra 2 hours. Who needs sleep anyway?
I was shocked, but not so shocked, when THE THEORY WAS RIGHT! She dropped 15 more songs, TTPD is a double album. It’s all I’ve been listening to. I’ve listened to the album bout 4 times through now!

Personally, as a huge Folklore fan, I love this album so much. It reminds me of Folklore and Midnights mixed together. It’s more like slam poetry over a music bed that all feels like a gut punch. Or, like you’re reading a book into her life. It sounds like it’s all her feelings and thoughts just spilled out into music. Her most vulnerable album yet.
The Tortured Poets Department will be my whole personality until I go to the era’s tour in December. I am about to be the most insufferable friend… but that’s what you get with me
