It seems Alberta doesn’t want us to have nice things—or at least, the things we kind of want. The province has officially decided that alcohol won’t be making its way to grocery and convenience stores after exploring the idea last year.
But, seriously… why not? I mean, is there a better combo than grabbing chips, taquitos, and a case of beer on a Friday night? It’s practically a match made in heaven!
First, they took away the kids’ phones, and now this? Alberta is starting to feel like that strict parent who’s totally uncool and doesn’t get why this is a big deal.
Guess it’s back to the liquor store runs!
