Lady Gaga, Joaquin Phoenix, and director Todd Phillips are teaming up to bring us a fresh take on Joker, and the all new Joker: Folie á Deux, that’s on the way. I am beyond thrilled to see what they have in store for us.
The first trailer is set to drop on Tuesday, April 9, and I’m so excited to see it! Only 1 week from today. Lady Gaga is known for her incredible talent and I don’t think she’s ever taken part in a bad movie so it can’t be terrible. The one thing that I think scares people about Joker 2 is that it’s apparently a musical. I hope they shine a bit of light on that in the trailer… it might help me get a true opinion. I’ve also heard that it will be mostly covers.
Either way, I will still go see it in theatres! It’s one that I will need to watch at least once.
