“This summer, Walt Disney Pictures invites you into a world……..”
Mark Elliott wasn’t a household name, but his cheery, booming voice announcing the near arrival of Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story or Lilo & Stitch was part & parcel of a happy childhood.
Heck, he could even make money-grubbing (cough, Lion King, cough) sequels sound like they’re worth checking out.
Elliott started his career as a radio disc jockey, but has since lent his voice to hundreds of voiceovers in nearly all media. He passed away on April 3 at age 81 in Los Angeles.
